We had a minibus there and back from our hotel. There’s a little gift shop back on land which sells some fun bits n bobs. I took two ibuprofen before I left which seemed to keep me settled. The rain is warm anyway and it felt quite liberating being out at sea, swimming away with the ‘love drops’ falling down! Little bit choppy so a couple of people felt a bit rough. I was very proud of myself for not getting washed out back to the UK! It rained today but that didn’t matter one bit. We got a chance to have a 15-min free swim as well. Some people were up dancing having a great time. We sat on top of the boat for the latter part of the trip and listened to the music they were playing with the wind drying us off as we sailed down part of the west coast. Lunch was a nice buffet of fish/chicken, mac cheese, salad, rice, coleslaw.
He was minding his own business and didn’t come near us. We saw just one turtle but he was lovely ( I adore turtles), lots of fish over the shipwreck and a stingray swam under us. Lying face down in the ocean watching the fish go by. And I absorbed the confidence from the other people on the trip. I have never snorkelled before or swum that far out in the ocean. We did the 5 hour daytime excursion with lunch and snorkelling.
